Need a Sick Note Before Your Shift in BC?
Your shift starts in a few hours. You are too sick to go in. Your employer wants a note. No clinic can see you in time. We can help.
You woke up feeling terrible. Your shift starts at noon — or maybe 3pm, or 6pm. You know you cannot make it in. Your employer's policy requires a sick note. But every walk-in clinic in BC has a 3-hour wait, and you would need to leave now to get seen in time. Instead, submit a 5-minute form from your phone and receive your note before your shift was supposed to start.
Common Scenarios
- Morning shift worker who woke up sick at 5am

- Warehouse/trades worker with physical job who is injured
How Fast
Most requests submitted in the morning are processed within 6 hours. If your shift starts in the afternoon or evening, you will almost certainly have your note before then. Mention your shift time in the submission for priority handling.
FAQ
How fast can I get a note if my shift is in 3 hours?
Most notes are delivered within 6 hours. If your shift is soon, mention the time in your submission and we'll prioritize it.
What if my shift already started?
You can still submit. Many people submit after calling in sick. The note can cover today's absence regardless of when you submit.
Can the note be backdated if I was sick yesterday?
Yes. If you were genuinely ill on previous days, indicate the dates in your submission. Our physician will assess and provide appropriate documentation.
My employer requires notes within 24 hours — can you meet that?
Yes. Our standard turnaround of within 6 hours is well within any 24-hour policy requirement.
